Transformer Based Bypass These external bypass cabinets incorporate an isolation transfomer allowing for the use of different input and output voltages. Available configurations include single phase cabinets for use with our TN Series UPS, and three phase cabinets for use with our NX Series UPS.
Overview Single and three phase external bypasses with isolation transformers are available in numerous size and voltage requirements. Also available are custom bypass solutions such as the TN Series Dual UPS Bypass with an Automatic Transfer Switch. This redundant switching provides automatic or manually initiated transfer from the primary UPS to the standby UPS in the event UPS#1 is shutdown or a critical failure has occurred. This switching ensures redundant protection, while maintaining noise-free and back-up AC power to all the critical loads connected.
